Celebrity Vicar is the third episode of Series 2 of The Vicar of Dibley. It first aired 15 January 1997.
Summary
After her Radio Dibley appearance, Geraldine is invited to appear on Pause for Thought with Terry Wogan. On the way out she meets Darcy Bussell, but the fame soon goes to her head and a national paper prints some stories about the villagers. Slowly but surely Geraldine becomes arrogant about her new-found fame, and the villagers become upset with her devoting more time to fashion shots and various other opportunities for fame than she does caring for them.
Closing Joke
"What do you call a budgie that's been run over by a lawnmower? Shredded tweet!" Alice didn't get the joke because the thought of a budgie been run over by a lawnmower made her sad.
