Geraldine is invited to four separate Christmas dinners, one with David and Hugo, one with Frank and Jim, one with Alice and one with Owen. She hasn't the heart to turn them down so she has to go to all four. On Christmas evening, BBC producer Tristan Campbell comes round and asks the Vicar to marry him.
